Why write about a 1991 movie, even if it did sweep the major Oscar categories?

Trump has repeatedly joked about Lecter on the campaign trail, calling him “a wonderful man,” and during his acceptance speech for the nomination Thursday night, he mentioned Lecter again: “Has anyone seen ‘Silence of the Lambs’? The late, great Hannibal Lecter. He’d love to have you for dinner.”
